Hot off the griddle – we have some of the most exciting news in Sugar Aunts history to share with you all! This May/June, we’re taking our next delicious step with the grand opening of our very own catering-style kitchen and alfresco dining venue at 125 South Tropical Trail in Merritt Island.

From Small Commissary to Alfresco Dreams

Remember when we were just squeezing into that little commissary kitchen and food truck? Well, we’ve officially outgrown those walls, and we have something special cooking! Inspired by the European tradition of “alfresco” dining – literally meaning “in the fresh air” – we’re bringing a little bit of England’s beloved outdoor dining culture to our Florida sunshine. Think long, lazy summer evenings enjoying good food and great company under the sky, just like they do across the pond.

What’s On the Menu?

We’ll be firing up the kitchen three days a week with a lineup that’s sure to get you excited:

Taco Tuesdays: Come get your fill of our famous tacos
Friday Nights: Time to kick off the weekend with live music and our signature Sugar Aunts flair
Sunday Brunch: Sip on mimosas and bloody marys while enjoying our breakfast favorites

Oh, and did we mention? Kids 10 and under eat FREE, and there’s always ice cream on the menu!

Your New Community Hub

Picture this: neon lights glowing against astroturf—while serving up your favorites, and a show-stopping neon sign that reads “Sugar Aunts Gangsters Paradise.” Our large back porch will seat 50-60 people, perfect for Florida evenings. While we do have a small indoor space, we’re all about that alfresco lifestyle!

Watch the walls come alive as Karli, one of our beloved Sugar Aunts, creates stunning murals throughout the space. Add in plenty of plants, a fresh salad bar, and you’ve got yourself a true oasis.

Paying It Forward

Here’s what really gets us excited: we’re creating a community space that other small businesses can call home. Just like we once needed a commercial kitchen to get started, we’ll be renting out our space as a commissary kitchen for fellow food entrepreneurs. It’s our way of helping the next generation of culinary dreamers get their start.

Beyond our regular service days, the entire venue is available for private parties and events. Whether you’re planning a birthday bash, corporate gathering, or anything in between, we’ll make it magical with our signature Sugar Aunts touch.
